School phobia is a serious and disruptive childhood disorder which has a relatively high frequency of occurrence in elementary school age children (baideme, kern, taffel- Some symptoms that children experience because of the school phobia are. Abdominal pains, sinus headaches, nausea and so on (baideme, 1998). Since most of the symptoms are likely to be symptoms of viruses parents tend to think that their children are sick and not that they are having a psychological disorder. Once a child develops school phobic symptoms, normal school functioning usually does not reoccur without some type of therapeutic intervention (baideme, 1998). However there have been made a lot of research in this area, there have not appeared to be many treatment methods and neither a most successful one (baideme, 1998).
