I thought your story was amazing, and i loved the way that you chose to write it. The first person view is perfect for this story because we can understand the characters reactions to everything first hand as it happens. I found the main character extremely relatable because of this reason. Parents are always pushing for the best grades possible, but expectations can sometimes never be met no matter what. I"ve taken adderall before even though i"m not prescribed it in order to stay up and study multiple times in the almost two years i have been through college so again, i can relate. Her mother in the story is way to overbearing however. I can understand the loss of your child can change a person psychologically forever, but when you have a 34 on the. Act and are accepted into every college in the country minus stanford, that"s a little bit insane.
