I thought your story was very interesting, but i"m struggling to understand certain points of your story. Lowri is a good character, but you make her very unlikable from the onset because she very rarely expresses an emotion or thought that isn"t bitchy. This keeps the reader from being sympathetic to her regardless of the things that make her a good character. Her past relationship with jacob ends, but she doesn"t seem to care at all. I would like to know her back story and how she ended up being a 36 year old waitress that enjoys reading books more than anything. Consider going back and talking about how she came to love books and why her past relationship ended a bit more. Heath is awesome, and i think most people know someone like him. His perseverance in trying to get lowri is truly remarkable, given how she treats him the first couple of times they meet.
