To study the performance of some typical op- amp circuits. On starting the experiment the circuits in figures below were connected one after the other for observations. This is a comparator and we applied 1hz sinewave of about 1 vp-p to the noninverting input and the inverting input to ground. This is a follower with the same application as above, and observations was made. Ans: the input impedance was about 56. 8 . And the square wave was the same as input signal. Ans: the square wave input is not altered. This can be achieved by changing r2 to 9k . Here the inverting input is said to be a virtual ground . What happens if you connect the inverting input to a real ground. Ans: the gain of the amplifier is -1. And the circuit can be changed to make the gain equal to -10 by making r2 equal to 10 .
