Description: this laboratory began with defining what an endocrine gland is, which are glands that are ductless and secrete hormones into the bloodstream. These hormones are messenger molecules that are released by endocrine glands and travel into the blood to regulate specific body functions of which there are three categories they are derived from, lipids, amino acids, and peptides. The lab then went on to listing the major endocrine glands of the body and listing general locations for each.
