Information arriving from outside environment passes though set of sensory transducers. Transducers convert information into specific codes for each modality. The modules then convert information into non modular so the whole brain can interpret. Modules are hardwired meaning that they cannot be constructed by more basic unit. Other mental processes can only have access to output. William syndrome have viso-spatial deficit but not face-specifc information deficit. Some language abilities are bilateral and only become modular specifc later ind development.
