Opening story lucinda and her parents were very stressed after her maternal grandmother moved in with them. They had to stop their family outings, vacations and taking work home and extracurricular activities in school. This caused a lot of tension in the family especially with michael, lucinda"s father. Finally, they went to seek family counselling and decided to bring lucinda"s grandmother to a nursing home for those with. Lucinda and her dad resumed their normal activities and are less stressed. Lucinda"s mom is more stressed because she visits her mom everyday. She is especially stressed when her name is forgotten of if she is having a bad day. Caregivers could experience emotional, mental, even physical health problems when attending to a person with terminal or chronic illnesses. Caregivers may neglect their own existing health problems and my overlooking developing issues created by the emotional and psychological demands of their new role.
