Anxiety disorders are a category of disorders involving fear of nervousness that is excessive, irrational, and maladaptive. Often occurs with: ocd, substance abuse, or problematic behaviour. For most people, anxiety occurs through fight or flight. Physical changes shift energy aways from non important matters such as digesting. Generalized anxiety disorder (gad) or humiliated in the public. Led people to limit their social activities. Definition: involves frequently elevated levels of anxiety, generally from the normal challenges and stress of everyday life. Try to control all the details, but usually end up in a mess. Definition: an anxiety disorder marked by occasional episodes of sudden, Short segments, but much severe than had. Key feature: panic attack: brief moment of anxiety that include a change in physical activity and frightening thoughts. Fear that it will happen again - agoraphobia: intense fear of having a panic attack in public, as a result, individual may begin to avoid public setting and isolate himself.
