Can occur in simple organisms (sea slugs, earthworm, Unconditioned stimulus (us) a stimulus that induces a reflexive response without learning. Unconditioned response (ur) a reflexive, unlearned reaction to an unconditioned stimulus. Overtime, a neutral stimulus can trigger the same response as an unconditioned stimulus would. Conditioned stimulus (cs) a previously neutral stimulus that triggers a conditioned response due to its history with an unconditioned stimulus. Conditioned response (cr) the learned response in reaction to the conditioned stimulus.
