In 1910- personal hygiene phase was very important because it allowed an emphasis on education of populations about own ill health and health. The therapeutic phase- 1930 and onwards- the medicalization of public health which associated with the prevention of ill health through bio-medical interventions such as vaccination and treatment of ill health through use of antibiotics.
