Corporate crime - in criminology, corporate crime refers to crimes committed either by a corporation, or by individuals acting on behalf of a corporation or other business entity. Deviance presumed behaviour that defies social expectations that are made and enforced by people with influence (power) and have been applied to particular people or groups in particular situations. Deviance is the outcome of a particular social process; it does not exist apart from that process. Deviant - departing from usual or accepted standards, esp. in social or sexual behavior. Deviants are those people identified by names or images that mark them as less worthy than other people. Functional harm occurs when deviance has a negative effect on the way that a particular system works.
