I am a strong believer in science, and peter adkins" view of science as truth is something i agree with. His claim that science is the best procedure yet discovered for exposing fundamental truths about the world is very correct. Many claim that science is nothing but lots of guesses. That is true, however the procedure that science requires a guess to go through to be classified as a truth takes away a lot of the guessing. According to science, for any guess to be considered as a truth, it has to be falsifiable. There has to be extensive experimentation done on the claim, data has to be collected, and only when the results from the experiments align with the hypothesis, the guess is considered a truth.
