There are people who strongly support it, and there are people who are against it, yet they use technology to use their views against technology. I agree with kurzweil"s assertion that we cannot refrain from technological development. Just like humans, human creations were made to evolve as well. As we evolved from primitive times, technology has evolved with us, and it will continue to do so. We have come a long way from the inventions of wheel, and fire, to now having space ships that will soon take us into outer space. Therefore technology needs to evolve in order to keep up with our evolving needs.
