Facts about attraction: tend to be consistent everywhere, physical proximity plays a large role in attraction and relationship formation. More likely to fall in love with someone who is in close proximity. Physical proximity predicts attraction: we like those who are physically attractive. More likely to fall in love with someone who is physically attractive: we like others who are similar to us i. e. religious, political tendency, looks, opinions and views. Weighing pros and cons for a romantic relationship: use our brain to think of factors before pursuing a relationship, research shows that people often desire romantic partners who share similar characteristics and who live in close proximity. Physical proximity or similar characteristics: scenario: julia wants to find a romantic partner who shares her interests and values. She"s willing to travel to visit him, nut she would rather live close by.
