We get our personal ethics from parents, society, experience, religion, social attitudes, culture, bosses, colleagues. We define ethics as something that prevents you from making a lot of money. They changed up the regulations in 2013. but it is still not strong enough, because the facilitation payment has not been eliminated. Key issues discussed in relation to environment, labour, profitability, consumer habits, and business practices (story of stuff) We are running out of resources, 1/3 of the planets resources are gone. A lot of the chemicals we use are toxic, and it is not being tested. Factory workers are moving to factories because they have no other options. We are not paying for the stuff we buy. We pay for stuff with pollution, labour and future. We keep the materials flowing g. we only use 1% of the stuff produced after 6 months. Things are thrown out because they are broken in order to contribute to the economy.
