Questions to include when managing at the frontier with ethics are: Advancement in existing technology: can create unknown consequence. Internet is believed to be at the frontier of management. Approaches useful at the frontier: deborah johnson argues for a genus-species approach to tackling issues at the frontier of knowledge, science, and technology. Johnson argues that new technology introduces issues that are different species of a known genus. This approach makes the issues more accessible as its ties the ethics at the frontier to our existing principles: allows us to revisit precedents and examine how they are appropriate for the current issue.
