Inspection involves examining items to see if an item is good or defective. Source inspection: controlling or monitoring at the point of production or purchase at the source, also known as source control. Consistent with the concept of employee empowerment, where individual employees self check their own work. >the next step in the process is your customer. Poka-yoke: literally translated, foolproof it has come to mean a device or technique that ensures the production of a good unit every time. Inspection points can be assigned at a a wide range of locations.
