Early childhood experiences shape adult physical and mental health: direct effects on health, ecec provides a platform for adult health through education, income, status, employment and lifestyle linked to adult health. Ecec outside of the family is only one factor. Inside the family: income, food, nutrition, healthy environment, parenting, housing, education early programs.
