Encounter therapy - genuine encounters & connections between people. Hard to do in a prison ie. highly guarded, psychopaths lie, violent inmates. 80 hrs/week for 2 years ie. 8 hours a week. Could only move 2 times, punished if you moved too much. Barker instrumental in sending lamb to war torn country.
