Assault involves the unlawful use of physical force against another person, aggravated assault involves an atrocious attack with the intent to kill or the use of a. It can be legally divided into two types: aggravated and simple deadly weapon. In the summer the number of homicides increases only slightly but assault rises significantly. In the hot season, people tend to go out more, especially the poor who do not have air-conditioning: going out increases social interaction, especially among strangers, who are likely to get involved in assault. Interracial murders in which blacks kill whites and vice versa are rare because racial discrimination discourages interaction between blacks and whites. Place of killing: men are more likely to kill at public places, but women are far more likely to kill in their home. In the past women most often did the killing in the kitchen. It may be more difficult to kill a stranger about whom we don"t have much feeling.
