The four main assumptions for the basic population growth model: Environmental or demographic
variation, Density dependence, Age structure, No immigration or emigration
Stochastic Model: Includes at least one source of random variation, which makes the outcome of the model

Deterministic Model: All elements are fixed: the outcome will be the same each time the result is calculated
