Landscape technology 2- structures and design detailing spring 2012. You have been given an autocad drawing of the site that shall be used for all of the drawings in this class. You shall next prepare a site survey from the materials given to you by your professor. This drawing shall be augmented with other information needed on a site survey as described below. Site surveys are usually prepared by registered land surveyors or civil engineers and then given to the architect, landscape architect, building contractor and others as needed. The following information or standards of practice (sop) is generally shown on the site survey. 1 property lines with corner posts locations and along with bearings and distances of all lines. Bearings shall be noted in degrees, minutes and seconds even if you have to use your best judgment as to the exact number.
