Landscape technology 2- structures and design detailing spring 2007. Storm water design collects, conveys, filters, cleans and disposes of rain fall . You have completed your site plan and your site grading plan. Now you must prepare a site drainage plan to determine how you will collect, convey, filter, clean and dispose of site rainfall. Prepare a base drawing for the drainage plan by using the proper elements of the site plan including all structures, buildings, parking and propose contours. You need not show existing contours, landscaping and site plan notes. All other features on your site plan, including notes, labels site plan summary calculations as layered may turned off for purposes of this drawing. You should also turn off your tree symbols except for the symbols that shows the exact location and grade of the tree. You are now prepared to do the site drainage plan. I might recommend that you separate grading from drainage on two different layers.
