Charisma= enthusiasm, interesting, exciting to be around: task/goal attraction: person has something that meets our needs or goals something we want, good or bad (study with, ride to football game) True opposites don"t really attract: liking: attracted to people that like us! ** attraction motivates us to start a relationship!!! Friendships: stages of friendships, role-limited interaction: communication to basic things (hey, how are you?, how"d you do on the last test?) Boys & girls can"t be friends, geographic distance, personal changes) can build them back up! Deception: one person intentionally misleading another person; lying!!!!
