Explanation: a statement (or set of statements) identifying the causes, context, consequences, factors influencing, or motivations of an object, process, state of affairs or behaviour. Inference indicator: a word or phrase that indicates there is a logical relationship between one claim (or set of claims) and another claim (or set of claims) that function as reasons or a conclusion is an argument. Paraphrase: involves restating in one"s own words the core meaning of a passage or text. Argument paraphrase: seeks to capture the core argument in the original text or dialogue.
