Document Summary
Different people chose to accomplish different actions with that public space, whether it is just to relax and look at the view, study, socialize or even just to pass through. In the assignment we were placed between the information building and the communication building. After a short period of time we were moved in front of the library to observe what people do near that public indoor area. The whole purpose of the observation was to analyze the use of public space, taking in consideration the different people that use the particular public spaces. In order to be able to count every single individual that is present in the specific location, a table was the most efficient way to organize it all. The table included the activity that people would do in the area. Also, to make the analysis more detailed, the people were categorized in different age groups and different genders.
