Sociology test review: micro is an individualistic focus on you, and what you"re doing right or wrong, macro or dialectal focuses on society to explain why our problems exist. Structure / agency: established structures vs possibility for change, agency your ability to act on the environment in which you live in. Gender class / ethnicity race: sexual orientation, ability or inability there is no such thing as just a man or woman, economic status plays a roll, race is a source of racial inequality. If you want to eliminate one type of inequality you have to eliminate the rest because they are all interrelated: the experiences of an individual embodies these three categories. Local / global: connections between developed and underdeveloped countries, first world third world, wealthy and poor, problems in third world countries are problems in the third world countries we have nothing to do with it.
