These factors can make people unhappy if they are poorly managed. If they are well managed, and viewed as positively by employees, the employees will no longer be dissatisfied. However, no matter how good these factors are, they will not make people truly satisfied or motivated to do a good job. Goals tell an employee what needs to be done and how much effort is needed. Goals should specify what the employees should do and within what time frame.
