If someone can help me, I’d very much appreciate it.

Look at the following list. You will see the names of people, dates, legislation, speeches, and terms. Each item on the list has something to do with segregation in United States history. Place each item on a timeline and write a brief paragraph about each explaining its relation to segregation history. Your descriptive statement will describe how it fits on the timeline.

You may create your timeline electronically with presentation or word processing software. Include a picture to support each item and your statement.  At the end of your presentation, write a few paragraphs explaining what you learned about segregation in America and how each of the items on the list connects to the history of segregation and each other.  Each item is worth 4 points (3 points for a quality description and 1 point for a relevant image).  The concluding analysis is worth 10 points.

1 . Sundown Towns

2. Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1968

3. White flight and Penick v. Columbus Board of Education

4. August 28, 1963 speech in Washington, D.C.

5. Supreme Court decision in 1954

6. Federal Civil Service in 1913

7. Greensboro Sit-in

8. Jonathon Kozol's Amazing Grace

9. Proposition 14 in California

10. Shelley v. Kraemer
