Assessment Overview
Individual Activity (800-1000 words)
“A project manager (PM) is a highly skilled knowledge worker who has received rigorous training
and knowledge in the process of achieving a globally recognized certification. At the same time, in
the lean and agile world, the project manager does not have an official role. The project manager's
role is distributed between the agile team members.”
Cornelius, D. A. (2014).
As the above quote alludes, the role of the Project Manager is evolving in light of the more contemporary approaches to project management itself.

Key Components and Task:
Provide a brief background to Agile Project Management and compare to traditional waterfall approaches, and contrast the roles of the traditional project manager against that within Agile Projects.
