Introduction
A subsidy, often known as a government incentive, is a type of financial assistance or assistance given to a particular sector of the economy with the goal of supporting economic and societal policies. Even though most usually associated with government assistance, the phrase subsidy can refer to any sort of assistance, such as that provided by NGOs or as implied subsidies.
