Given information

A positively charged particle is given. It is in the non-uniform magnetic field where it follows a certain trajectory which is always in the plane.

To find: Direction and magnitude of Magnetic fields at given points.

Step-by-step explanation

Step 1.

For the direction of the magnetic field, we will use the right-hand rule

so, Using the right-hand rule we can say that when the particle moves to the right it experiences an upward force, the magnetic field will be pointing out of the plane. When the particle deflects downward, the magnetic field will out of the page.

The magnetic field is strongest or weakest when the slope of its trajectory is closest to the vertical and the field must be pointed into the page. When the field is medium then its direction is out of the page.
