As i read at all the replies in this discussion board, i can see that some of us have something in common. Basically, i would see that promise breaking is only okay if it was for an immoral reason. By immoral reason i mean by harming someone or themselves. It is petty obviously that keeping a promise will tell others what type of person you are. If you where to tell me hey, i like amber i wouldn"t say a thing to anyone. You would see me as a trustworthy person that can keep promises. If you were to tell me hey i"m going to kill myself , well i will be forced to tell someone. I wouldn"t be able to live with myself if i had the chance to save that person from there self, i already had it once not again. I can see where you are coming from.
