Art3477cbe: art in the world and the workplace. I will turn the unusable first level of the parking deck into a mosaic display of art, by recreating a similar visual as displayed by the magic gardens in philadelphia, pennsylvania. I will recreate this by displaying it as the magic detour. it will highlight the work of mexican folk art made by mexican folk artists such as isaiah zagar, luis valencia, and the aguilar and garcia family. These will be handmade works by these same artists that include works of art such as ceramics, paper mache, paintings and sculptures. The entire floor of the garage will be designed so that the artwork is covered in the tiles and mosaics as you walk through the museum. When continuing forward, there will be pieces hung from the ceilings, on the walls beside you, and even above you. This will create the magic phenomenon as you walk this garage floor.
