There have been entire cultures that have been identified solely by singular art forms. Art is anything that results from human skill and creativity such as photography, literature, music, drama, etc. Once we have the ability to distinguish quality art and the purpose of entertainment, we can have the ability to analyze art in the world and in the workplace. While assessing artwork can be misleading, it is important to point out that the effect art has had on the world and as culture and society as a whole, has been heavily influenced. In assessing the historical impact of art on culture, society, and the workplace we must first understand what artists do, which brings us to the six main components and roles of what artists do.
