I did not have any issues when downloading and installing r for widows. I followed the directions and selected the base option. The name of the executable was r-4. 0. 5-win indicating that the version to be installed was 4. 0. 5. At the end of the installation, i created two shortcuts on my desktop, one for the 32bits and one for the 64 bits versions. I clicked on both of them to test and they both opened without problems.
