10/04/19: m: political culture with alienation and aspiration. Uk & us older brothers & m little trying to act mature but rlly making m look more like a kid: full of imbalance and inconsistency. Proud system but dismissive & cynical towards individuals voices & faces of poli system i. ii. Alienated toward state people , while allegiant towards political system. Low awareness/cognition, greater willingness to express /discuss opinions: reasonly inclined, consistent with expectations of civic culture & democracy, less than counterparts, not informed opinions, sense of obligation to participate unrelated to perception towards government and bureaucracy. Individuals should do what they can to help and influence: limited by econ & edu opportunities. Doesn"t mean political system has no chance c. High self-approval of cognition and subject competence combined w/ political inexperience: challenge to not do so bc expectation exceedingly high=less likelihood of demands me=alienation; need to be realistic-humility, culture needs to be community for system to work.
