We eat things to get energy (cellular respiraion) Plants get energy from the sun-it makes food out of it (photosynthesis) First law of thermodynamics: energy can not be created. Cytoplasm-everything outside the nucleus in eukaryoic cells including organelles. Proteins and carbs can also be found in the membrane, but mostly lipids: informaion. Dna is a geneic code informaion it stores informaion. Each gene contains the code to make/the synthesis for a paricular protein.
