Types of sexual behaviors in which people engage are influenced by. Physiology- how the body responds to different types of stimulation. Educational level- associated with a greater variety of sexual behaviors. In 19th century viewed as delaying development/hazardous to health. Higher rates associated with being single, not holding conservative religious beliefs, and greater educational achievement. Masturbating in adolescence associated with greater adult sexual satisfaction. Most jerk shaft of penis up and down, or move whole hand up and down length of shaft. More likely to use erotic media than women. Most massage area around clitoris using a circular motion. Rarely touch glands of clitoris as it is too sensitive. Inserting something into the vagina reported by 20% Most people report having sexual fantasies, including with a partner.
