Lsd was originally used by chemists, but then the cia thought they could give the drug to other countries to reveal secrets; didn"t work. The cia continued to experiment with lsd and did strange experiments, but later it was. A sensation overwhelming you without any source of direction is what it is like to be on shut down. One scientist, tim leary, thought that lsd could change the world; he was a serious advocate for the drug.
