You can"t understand the moment of discourse as a particular moment, you have to understand how it"s situated. It"s important to distinguish between language and discourse. Language is a key raw material from which discourse gets shaped. Can someone outside of the south make claims about southern culture and understand southern culture. Experience is linked to a dialectical moment. Arguing against the essential experiences and it"s contingent to know something about it. Someone doesn"t function normally in the context of society. Repetitive action doing something over and over again and expecting different results. Insanity is designed to explain people"s actions. Ontology the way things are in the world. Epistemology the way we understand the world to work. Insanity is formed by institutions; a manifestation of power; a response to sanity.
