The leasing consultant has numerous roles in the office, the most important being a sales professional. The leasing consultant helps ensure that the property maintains its occupancy by taking prospective residents on tours and selling the apartment community to them. The leasing consultant will submit service requests for any maintenance items noted during the inspection of the apartment homes. It is also important to walk vacant apartments to visualize the interior feel and location. This will help in choosing an apart(cid:373)e(cid:374)t that (cid:373)eets the prospecti(cid:448)e reside(cid:374)t"s (cid:374)eeds. Other: answering phones, assisting guests and residents who enter the office, completing apps and creating resident files, entering and closing out service requests, following up on prospective residents, filing.
