All information on the same level has the same significance. Helps make logical connections between relevant points within the speech. If you are going to divide into sub points, There should be at least 2 sub points! Ensures you give adequate attention to each claim that you make. Each symbol of the outline is followed by a full sentence. Write the outline like you would speak, not like an essay! Drastically shorter, more condensed version of your preparation outline. Contains the same structure as the preparation outline. Don"t add anything new to the speaking outline! You can add delivery cues for the presentation. Draft of a speech is projected word for word.
