The way that the civilized people react to the savage reservation is not surprising; it is natural. To explain, when we encounter something unfamiliar, we often look down upon it because we believe our way is correct. She is always content because she takes soma pills, a drug, while these people appear to suffer because they must deal with their pain on their own. She is not accepting of the new culture, praising her own by saying cleanliness is next to fordliness " (huxley 110). Likewise, the people in the reservation are not fond of outsiders.
