Marriage:
• Recognized union between a man and a woman
• United sexually
• Cooperate economically
o Legal contract
• May give birth, adopt, or rear children
Family:
• Usually related by descent, marriage, remarriage, adoption, and affiliated kin
• Nuclear Family:
o Family in which you were raised
