Let"s blow up the damn to make the water drain out the fork of the river. Some talked about taking out a contract on the local game warden. Some talked about boycotting local store owners who backed state options. One was a very prominent tackle shop who agreed with the state and he was not patronized. Numerous game wardens, swat teams, highway patrol were present to stop local protestors. You also have to poison up into the currents and small parts of the lake to make sure that the problem doesn"t return. They killed thousands of rainbow trout whose carcasses floated to the shore. There were thousands of black and brown bullheads, bass, and sunfish, all of which were compatible with the rainbow trout. There were hundreds of northern pike in 3 age and size classes. These results were much higher than the initial estimates.
