Globalization describes increasing economic linkages between centuries. Political globalization binds the world in new form of authority. Cultural globalization means culture transported around the world. 9/11 attacked our economic and political power, wtc and pentagon. Globalization can not be reversed, it began very early. People were hunter gatherers and soon populations grew and people settled. Byzantium, constantinople and istanbul were trading centers. Tigris and euphrates rivers created other hubs. As climate changed ties in africa became hard because rivers dried up. The bantu people of africa had to adjust to the climate change. The indus river began civilization in india. China was the center of power and culture. The yellow and the yangtze river were the most powerful. Some centers stayed individualized while others adapted to their surroundings and. Sometimes china accepted trade and other times they did not. Places maintained cultural identities but still communicated with others. The great silk road merged many cultural centers.
