Determinism allows for alternate possibiliies in a sense. Your acions and choices can be free even if causally determined as long as they are caused by your own desires and intenions. He also has a desire to shoot people. If his desire to shoot people caused him to do it then yes. If the tumor caused him to do it, then no because he sill would have: reply 2: counter-examples to pap (locke and frankfurt) done it even if he did not desire to. Dan dennet: inability to do otherwise does not necessarily mean a lack of free will or lack of moral responsibility. May be a sign of integrity and moral character. Seems like george washington deserves praise for his honesty.
