Document Summary

For the most part, these are not under our conscious control. Shapes, color, size, etc are attributes computed by the brain (ex: the imaginary square) starting with the pattern of light on the retina. (the brain has no direct access to what the world actually looks like) Every shape and color you perceived are something your brain has to compute to create that representation which is the basis of your perception right now. The response of various input is going to tell us how it is going to program. Input-output relations we feed it various combinations of inputs and then observe how it responses to those inputs. This is what we mean when we say (cid:1445)information processing(cid:1446) Even before we know anything about how the system works on the inside (internal functioning) we can already learn a little bit about what exactly it does.
