Feels like they are having a heart attack. But, it is from a psychological place that is affecting the body. Fear of going outside because you may feel anxiety. Ex. finals are over, but are worrying about next semester. Constant obsessions about usually one certain thing. Most people who meet criteria exhibit both. Recognition that the obsessions or compulsions are excessive or unreasonable. Attempts to ignore, suppress, or neutralize the unwanted thoughts or impulses.
